Our product is backed by 8 years of research and development with hospitality programs across the United States. We provide customized training and support to ensure success in any food service operation.
About Carlo
Founder Carlo Luciano is a first-generation Italian-American who began his hospitality career with a job washing dishes at age 13. While studying marketing at Fairfield University, a semester abroad in Italy inspired him to channel his passion for food into a career. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Carlo worked as a chef and general manager in Connecticut before managing hospitality programs at large-scale venues across the country, including racetracks, amphitheaters, sports stadiums, and the oldest zoo in America.
Through it all, Carlo was disappointed with the low-quality frozen pizzas available to corporate clients. He saw an opportunity to combine his passion for high-quality pizza with his extensive background in corporate food service management and entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2016, Carlo took over the business of an old-school pizzaiolo producing a classic New York-style pie. He focused first on mastering the art of pizza making and the challenges that come with fresh dough production at a mass scale.
Over the past 8 years, he refined his product for large venues, developing a parbaked crust and sourcing the perfect cheese and sauce for an optimal quick-serve pizza. Additionally, experience had taught him that operators need more than a good quality product to ensure success. That’s why Luciano’s Pizza Co. provides customized training to back its pizza program—ensuring our pies are served hot, fresh, and flavorful, every time.
Current Operations
In 2021 we launched our rebranded Luciano’s Pizza slice stands at the Montage Mountain Pavilion and Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. In 2022 we expanded to the Mann Center for Performing Arts. We continue to improve our high-volume concessions system while garnering a reputation for the highest-quality food and customer service experience. During the COVID lockdown, we implemented an at-home product currently available through Just Farmed.
